Bengaluru, June 20, 2026: Senior leadership from Whistling Woodzs Jungle Resort, Dandeli, participated in a high-level tourism stakeholders' meeting convened by Karnataka's Hon'ble Chief Minister, Shri D. K. Shivakumar, alongside National Award-winning actor and filmmaker Shri Rishabh Shetty, at Vidhan Soudha, Bengaluru.

on June 19, 2026, the meeting brought together key tourism stakeholders, hospitality leaders, and government officials to discuss strategies for accelerating tourism across Karnataka, with a special focus on unlocking the immense potential of the state's coastal and nature-based destinations.

Addressing the august gathering, Shri D. K. Shivakumar reaffirmed the government's commitment to building a globally competitive tourism ecosystem.

"Our primary goal is to develop world-class sustainable tourism infrastructure and further enrich the tourism sector by showcasing the rich cultural an.d natural beauty of coastal Karnataka to the world," 

he said.

He also highlighted the government's focus on improving ease of doing business through measures such as streamlined approvals, addressing regulatory challenges, including Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) norms and forest clearances, and creating greater employment opportunities through tourism-led growth.

Representing Whistling Woodzs were Directors Mrs. Sanyukta Jadhav and Ms. Snehal Jadhav, along with General Manager Mr. Eron, who joined tourism leaders in discussions on enhancing visitor experiences, strengthening infrastructure, and promoting sustainable tourism practices across Karnataka.
